About Our Tutor:

Mrs. S. Ana Margaret Regini, R.N, R.M, M.Sc.(Psy), M.Phil.

Mrs. S. Ana Margaret Regini was a tutor for Nursing and a Soft skill trainer for an NGO’s educational project for more than 23 years. After retiring from that institution, she wanted to train exclusively women living in the periphery of life who have no access to transform their aspirations to become competent and proficient health care providers. Besides, there is a huge demand for students who have completed a Vocational Diploma in Paramedical Nursing in and around Tambaram. Her husband, who is the Founder and Managing Trustee of The New Dawn Foundation—promoting yoga for human excellence among older people—has facilitated her burning desire into a concrete action by establishing a community college under the Registered Trust – The New Dawn Foundation, called NDF Community College.

She has edited a textbook, “Health is Wealth” in two volumes, which serves as resource material for Health Assistant Programs in Community Colleges in India and overseas—Sri Lanka, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, etc.

She is also a Psychologist. Her deep understanding of adolescent behavior and showering unconditional love and affection upon them has made her very close to everyone’s heart. That is why the students of the institution where she served last would call her “Mom,” not “Ma’am.” She strongly believes that “Everyone is unique and they have the right to be different.” This slogan has created a great impact on the thought process of the students trained by her to perceive and accept everyone without any bias or prejudice. Her approach in dealing with desperate students has helped them manifest their latent potentials to their fullest capacity and experience a new dawn in their lives. They look cheerful and enthusiastic and have become role models to others.

As her husband was a defense person, she had to move wherever he was posted, and hence she had the pleasure and privilege of serving either as a teacher in Air Force schools or as a staff nurse in Air Force Hospitals. She is also a Pranic Healer & Yoga Trainer who heals the ailing students of NDF Community College. She is an enthusiastic person who is involved in her profession and with her students. Her commitment is remarkable.
