New Dawn Foundation
New Dawn Foundation (NDF) is an ISO 9001:2015 certified, registered non-profit organization dedicated to the holistic well-being of older adults. Founded on the principle that every individual deserves to age with dignity and vitality, NDF leverages the ancient wisdom of yoga and traditional therapies to empower seniors to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
As people advance in age, they often face a natural decline in anatomical, biological, and functional strength, increasing their vulnerability to disease and disability. Compounding these physical challenges are changing family and social structures, which can significantly threaten their psychological and mental health. NDF was established to directly address these interconnected challenges.

NDF Triangle

To achieve its mission, the New Dawn Foundation has designed a tailor-made program focusing on direct interventions in two key areas:
Wellness:
Providing counselling, and promoting traditional therapies such as Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Sidha, and Ayurveda.
Age Care:
Offering physiotherapy and facilitating access to palliative care.
Vision & Mission
Vision:
A society where every older adult has the right to lead an active, healthy, and dignified life, thereby achieving holistic wellbeing.

To work for the cause and care of older adults, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion, or gender, by improving their quality of life across physiological, psychological, social, emotional, and economic dimensions.

Our Journey and Impact
The New Dawn Foundation became operational on April 14, 2018, with a core philosophy of promotive, preventive, and curative wellness through yoga, pranayama, and meditation. Our participants, primarily older adults, consistently report feeling rejuvenated through regular practice. Beyond the physical practice, our in-house psychologist provides essential counselling, creating a tangible, positive impact on their perception, mental resilience, and overall well-being.
NDF’s Strategy: Yoga Education for Human Excellence
Recognizing that the benefits of yoga extend to all ages, NDF is also committed to spreading its knowledge and practice to younger generations. We believe yoga education is a powerful tool for human excellence, complementing school and college curriculums. It prepares students physically and mentally, integrating their physical, mental, and spiritual faculties to become healthier, more aware, and more integrated members of society.
- Attain and maintain good physical health.
- Practice mental hygiene for a calm and focused mind.
- Develop emotional stability and resilience.
- Integrate strong moral and ethical values.
- Progress towards a higher level of self-awareness.

These objectives are pursued in an integrated manner, equipping individuals with the knowledge to understand their own personality, handle life’s varied situations with grace, and face challenges with equanimity.
By enhancing focus, stamina, and a balanced attitude, yoga can boost a student’s performance in academics, sports, and social activities. Furthermore, our programs create a pathway for individuals to become “yogapreneurs” —entrepreneurs who wish to start their own yoga centers or studios—catering to the huge and growing demand for qualified yoga instructors in India and abroad.
